Searching
Hi, Nate - it seems like you are maybe not getting your desired results from the search box, so I thought I'd give you a link to the Hints and Tips on How to Search on TaxAlmanac article, which has some good info on searching, and also point out that the search engine here literally matches words. It's not really a topical search kind of thing, which might have been what you were expecting? There is a way to search topically here, but it relies on other users to categorize their discussions into the categories, and very few discussions in the past couple of years have been categorized. So it wouldn't help you with something new like the ESB NOL thing, but in case it might be useful to you in the future (since I know everybody researches differently), you would go here: Topical Index.
And - not really sure what your search terms were for your latest inquiry (ESB/rental) but you probably picked out the least helpful discussion of all of the various ESB/rental discussions to ask your follow-up question on!! The question got answered only obliquely there, whereas I think your question might have been answered more directly in some of the others in this search: Search: ESB rental.
