P.S. Homework? That's nothing. What about violence and theft in the classroom? My sister is a teacher in a middle-sized inner-city. She runs the same risk as a police officer in a middle-sized inner city, as far as I'm concerned. The janitorial staff in her school was caught this year running a theft ring in laptops.

Did anyone do background checks on the janitors before they were hired? Lots of times that step is not taken far enough.
