The logic would be that you could meter stamp it and still not deliver it timely. The post office or other delivery service stamp shows that delivery was actually made.}} | ||

| Have a new Pitney Bowers meter in my office. Is the postage date, etc from that meter what controls whether a return is timely filed? Client claims its not what our meter says, but what the post office stamps on it afterwards...(sigh)... anyone know the answer? | |
