Since you are covering all kind of taxes, why not cover Payroll tax also under your website. Payroll taxes are sometimes confusing and most people scared of notices and levies imposed for payroll taxes by state authorites and IRS. That will keep this forum for the whole year.

I'm confused by your post. There are lots of threads here regarding payroll taxes. What specifically are you suggesting?

Perhaps AJS is suggesting we create a distinct Payroll Tax Forum? Does anyone else have feedback on this?

Probably not a bad idea

That seems good. I could see a seperate forum for payroll taxes...

We all work in different states and can help each other better for taxes related to our home state. In payroll taxes we have a lot of different kind of issues for all 50 states and IRS.

Besides Quickbooks, what other payroll service providers does someone reccomend?

I use the Drake client writeup module, which can do live or ATF payroll.

I have only used quickbooks. Is Drake better? Between quickbooks, lacerte, DMS and add ons. Intuit has a fair ownership interest in my firm.

I am using payroll mate that is only $200 per year and you can do unlimited number of clients...this is the best deal out there...PENSOFT is really expensive and Quick books is around $249 for upto 50 clients...anyone wants to share their thoughts about the software they are using....

I think I pay $100 for quickbooks payroll because it is an add on the the quickbooks proadvisor package.
