| Field audit.....got one year filed; talked to the revenue agent and he has now given me 30 days to file the past due returns....I have a garbage bag (literally) for a fisherman's income/expenses. He wants an updated 433A and wants all the returns filed within 30 days.....got one year done but this is brutal!!
Second, I have a client with a very ethical situation (at least for me). These are not things I want to post on an open forum but if anyone is willing to give a gal a break and help me think this through, I would be most appreciative!! Sandy

| Sandy, for dealing with the IRS, put a note on the talk page of Mike Wellman (Irsfixer) and/or Steve Kassel (skasselea) -- both have a lot of personal IRS experience and know the ins and outs. (I've known both of them for years in other forums.) If your agent won't be reasonable (after all, it IS tax season), you can go to his supervisor.
As for the ethical problem, I'll be glad to talk with you about it off line, although I'm not sure how much help I can be. Sometimes just kicking something around with someone else can help you see the light. And keep your chin up. We all have days when things seem just insurmountable. You have a lot of friends here who will help you if we can.
