I learned some new information today - or at least new to me. And thought I would pass it on to anyone who might want to know. I was worried about the direct deposit info. for my clients who choose to do a RAL. I spoke with the bank today that I go thru, and they let me know that they somehow issued something with the IRS and any deposit that relates to their bank's routing # will be rejected and convert to a paper check for the stimulus payment. Thought that was good news. I would assume all banks that handle RALS would do the same. But as I am typing this I am thinking that there were some people who actually have a checking account with this bank and used it for direct deposit, guess their's would be rejected as well? Oh well, it all cant be perfect!!!
