| I am amending a 2006 1120S. This corporation changed their corp name in 2007. Of course when I pull up the 2006 tax return to prepare the amendment, the old name is on the return. In order to create the least amount of confusion, do I change the name to the new name, do I leave it there and write the new name next to it, or do I just send it in with the old name? | |

| YES, you want to create the least amount of confusion. Doing one of those will help accomplish that.
(I think I'd use the current name, followed by 'F/K/A Old Name') | |
