I believe this is a new one-day record for me. I received THIRTY...count 'em 30 notices for one client today. They were all CP 523, Notice of Intent to Levy, Defaulted Installment Agreement. From what I can find, these 30 Presorted First Class Letters, which weigh 1.5 ounces each cost 46.0 cents to mail (the lowest rate for a minimum of 150 barcoded pieces to the same 5 digit area). Add in the 3 pages of the 523 itself, the 12 page Publication 594, the inside and outside envelopes as well as the third party contact notice and the minimum for the mailer is 25 cents. Let's just say about 71 cents total for each letter. Maybe a little more...maybe a little less, but who cares; it's your money.

Oh and remember this....the client received all 30 Notices as well and his were all Certified Mail
