Tax Biz

Hey how are you? I was just wondering if I can ask you a few questions about the mobile tax business. What I was curious about is you ever ran into problems being a mobile preparer? Also do you charge a premium over your in-office fee? Do you have a website?

Your message

Sandy:

I received the message you left on my user talk page. However, it was not me that asked you that question - it was User:Lowkeyent. You might want to cut and paste your reply to that user's talk page. Let me know if you need any help with this.

Hi

Hey Sandy, I'm pretty late with this because I haven't been on this site for a bit but thank you for your reply and information. It was very helpful. I guess I had another question, in charging for your mobile service do you tack on a premium? Like are you prices compared to a retail chain? Also do you feel there is a strong demand for this service?

A discussion you participated in has been moved

Hi, you recently responded to a discussion called ProSeries OnLine Community; wanted to let you know that this discussion has been moved from the tax forum over to the Business Growth/Practice Management forum since it's not so much a technical tax issue, and is much more in line with the topics that the PM/BG forum is intended to cover (e.g., software, licensing & exams, CPE, fees, obtaining and keeping clients, along with issues like hiring employees/subcontractors, purchasing office equipment, handling clients, etc.).

Didn't want you to be wondering why the discussion disappeared from the tax forum.

Your Carbonite discussion

Hi, Sandy - Thx for the info and coupon codes.

We've been trying to keep all of the tax software/practice management software discussions grouped together in the Practice Management/Business Growth forum, so later on today I'll be moving your Carbonite discussion over there, too.

This "categorizaton" of topics is at the request of two groups of community members - those who want to see all the practice management topics (software, fees, licensing, CPE, office space, hiring, etc.) in one place, and those who want to see only questions about tax issues on the tax forum. Over the past year the activity on the PM/BG forum has really increased, so now it's probably just about as active as the tax forum.

For future reference, you can start PM/BG topics right in the PM/BG forum - and it's actually a whole heck of a lot easier as we don't have to screen out non-tax-pros there so you don't have to jump through all the hoops like you do to start a new tax question. Just go to the BG forum and click on start a new discussion.
