CPA Site Solutions

Saw your post that you are thinking of them. I went with them right before last tax season.

Used for my client portal before them, now using their built in portal.

The web build is awesome. You can see mine at if you want.

But from the client portal standpoint, check out sharefile and their security features and the ease of use vs what comes built in with CPA Site Solutions.

In either instance, they can integrate another client portal into their website they build for you.

My recommendation is to use theirs on a trial basis for a limited number of clients, also try or another portal company for a few other clients and see which one you like best. Then when you make your final pick, only a few need to then change.

I had about 50 clients on sharefile and then switched everyone to the built in one without really testing it. Now, to switch, it is more of an issue.

Rupert, We are beta testing. I would be happy to share thoughts and opinions. Is it OK if I move your personal post to me to the thread? Perhaps we will grab the attention of a few others.

Hi Rupert,

We did use sharefile and are now still using the one built in with my CPA Site solutions website provider. If you'd like to see how my portal works via the solution, check out my website at

I thought sharefile was excellent. We have a ton on our plate and one of those items is to review and determine where we are going from here. It seems like the portal aspect of our website is more of an afterthought than a well devised portal. We told them if they don't change it up, we might switch. We'll see.

The key to the portals is the organization and the monitoring. If there is a breakdown there, things can get lost in the shuffle. We're still trying to put procedures in place to minimize this. Gets tricky when you have people emailing, faxing and using the client portal or sharing their own google drives with us.

Hope this helps.

Thank you

Thank you for calling my attention to my egregious mistake. It was not intentional. I'm so glad I came back to check the post. Take care. Gazoo

I have a very thick skin

I don't know if I've become a better lawyer over the years or not, but I have developed the lawyer's thick skin. So don't ever worry about being too harsh with me.  :) I appreciate what you did and it was just pure luck that I came back and checked the post or my remarks would have stayed there overnight. I've learned my lesson now (I hope), and I will make it a point to read all of a thread before I put my fingers in motion. Take care. Gazoo 14:23, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
