Article Categories

Hi, Mike –

Did you know that the featured articles you add to the site periodically are not being included in the Topical Articles list? Since that list is where you're led if you click the "more articles..." link on the Main Page, it would be logical for it to include both topical and featured articles.

Not sure how that list gets populated – I think it may have something to do with whether or not an article has a [Category:XXX] flag. Or it may need to be a manual update? Either way, it would seem that there should be a topical category for “featured articles” and they should be pulled into that list, to make it easier for researchers to find them.


Also – I added some related discussions/articles links to a few of your recent articles. Among other things, I wanted to get additional search terms into the text of one of the article pages, but also the discussions tend to add depth to our understanding of the issues. Hope those edits are okay with you.
