Gifting and basis

I am taking the time to answer you privately because I remember and respect the way you achieved your credentials. If you re-read Klesher's post you will see that his only point of disagreement with me is the result of his not reading the part about the piano being bought new.

just testing

My contact info:

I may have something coming up that I can use your help with. It is not quickbooks related as I am highly trained in that and can do this project on my own, but I could use some help with possibly putting together a spreadsheet for the FDOR. I have 3 years worth of international sales that need to be put together in a spreadsheet as well as getting together a list of all income and taxes for that period for a voluntary disclosure.

You can email me if you like at Let me know your experience if you will and what you want as far as compensation. I may be able to use you from time to time.

Thank you!!

Muchas Gracias

Hey Vato:

Muchas gracias por respondiando....I was looking through "The Tax Book" put out by Tax Materials, Inc., but their explanation was not very clear whether or not the taxpayer's siblings had to reside with him.

Most people probably did not respond to my inquiry, because they don't encounter my type of situation very often.

Are you located in California ? I'm located in San Jose. Again, thank you for responding and clearing up those tax issues. Are you attending the tax conference in Las Vegas next month? ....hasta luego.

How to find topics

Unfortunately, the search on TaxAlmanac currently only works with 'words' that are 4 or more characters long, so a search for 'OIC' wouldn't return anything. We are working on getting this fixed though. I did a search on 'Compromise' and found the following pages:

Notice of Intent to Levy

Martineo, if you wish to redact out the personal information and fax the info to me, please do so. It's far too difficult to make heads or tails out of information in this manner. My fax number is 650.742.7771. Skasselea 19:47, 15 May 2006 (CDT)Steve Kassel, EA

FL - CPA LIcense

I am wondering if anyone has answer to this question. I am a CPA from DE, want to apply CPA License in Florida. FL requirements says 150 hours including 36 hours in accounting to sit for the exam. I did not have 36 hours in accounting when sat for CPA exam in DE, however I do have 36 hours now. Does FL count the accounting hours earned after passing the CPA exam? or they will make you sit for the cpa exam all over again to be licensed in FL? Any help is appreciated.

OIC post

Hello Martineo,

I saw your posts about OIC. You asked anyone if they had a good engagement letter to use for any OIC. Did you ever find one? If so, would you be willing to share it? My e-mail address is
