Profit Cents
I saw your previous post about Profit Cents. What's your feedback/thoughts on the product ~ 5 months later? Thanks
That wasn't me inquiring about Profit Cents; but thanks for checking! DJCCPA 18:21, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
Gruntworx
We have used Gruntworx for two tax seasons now. To this point we still are not using it correctly. It's been more of a organized storage system. My goal is to use the tick marks on the organized document & add or subtract pages so it truely is a electronic set of work papers. In order to use the file in this manner you have to open it out of File Cabinet, do your work & then save it back. I wish File Cabinet allowed you to work with an "object" which is how you save it but to this point it has not happened.Cost wise it's pretty cheap & the book marking is handy. I think the training could be better. The option to sort trades for schedule D is really great if a client has 100's of transactions. If you have other questions please let me know barry@greatbendcpa.com
End of the forum
You may have heard by now that the Tax Almanac ( www.taxalmanac.org ) web site forum is permanently closing its doors effective June 1. Perhaps you have seen the pink bombshell “Important Service Announcement” when logging in.
Long-time TA user ChrisV2 has volunteered to set up a new website where TA users may continue the discussion. The site is up and running now and has an active base of contributors.
We invite you to take a look www.taxprotalk.com and join your fellow TA refugees.
