Introducing myself

Hey, looks like we are in the same boat. Except my boss has given me the title of Senior Accountant -- not hard to get when he and I are the only ones working in the firm. I am on this site because I like the additional information that I get on doing returns.

Talk to you soon

Laticiaw (Laticia Morgan actually -- different story)

Hi Sara,

I've only done a few sales on Etsy and it's been awhile since the last one. I've done the most on my website, with the second most (but far behind) from eBay.

I use Quickbooks to create an invoice. They I apply the PayPal payment as if it were a credit card. PayPal is set up as a separate checking account. I manually book whatever fees eBay, Etsy, eCrater, Bonanza, iOffer, etc charge.

I do this for each sale, so I don't think it would help you.

Hey Sara,

It's me again. I just did a CSV Orders download for a month I had a sale (yep, one sale) in). My download did not have whatever Etsy charges, but if I had to, from the Excel worksheet that I downloaded, I'd probably import the file into a Microsoft Access Database ( I'm a computer programmer, so this would be easy). I do think that you can add totals to the Excel worksheet and get what you need.

End of the forum

You may have heard by now that the Tax Almanac ( ) web site forum is permanently closing its doors effective June 1. Perhaps you have seen the pink bombshell “Important Service Announcement” when logging in.

Long-time TA user ChrisV2 has volunteered to set up a new website where TA users may continue the discussion. The site is up and running now and has an active base of contributors.

We invite you to take a look and join your fellow TA refugees.
