SCANNING
We use a Lanier all in one color copier/printer/fax/scanner for all of our printing and scanning. It has a multiple sheet feeder, can scan 2 sided documents, etc. Very fast.
We use E-Filecabinet software (this is the first year). I print the pdf tax return to a directory (1 file per client), then the scanner saves the documents (all the stuff we used to copy - w-2s, 1099s, deductions, etc). We move the scanned docs to the appropriate file folder daily. Kevinh5
Client growth and how to increase clients and corporations
I thought your sister's practice (and your's)figures on clients and corporations was very impressive.
I would like to mainly have corporation returns, but that is
elusive for small practioners.
