Did you determine that there were any disadvantages? I have made this election for a client for this year, theerefore they will get the benefit of a greater deduction this year. Early 2008 they closed the business, and will be filing corporate and personal bankruptcy. Do you see any issues with making this election for 07?
Also - FYI - you will get a better response fom site contributors if you include information about yourself on you user page.
