Final 1040 or 1041 class
the Preparing a 1041 class is very broad - because a 1041 can be used for either an estate OR a trust
The Final 1040/Estate 1041 class only covers issues of a decedent and his estate. There IS some overlap between the two classes, but there are enough differences that many people take both.
I would start with the Final 1040/Estate 1041 because, in my opinion, this is easier to understand since you can relate the concepts to clients you already have.
Unless you already do trust tax returns, the 1041 class jumps right in and you may not have much to relate it to. Kevinh5
Driving while doing anything else but driving
Sorry for the grammar. Trying to type while driving and drinking coffee at the same time
I hope you were joking when you wrote this (or were at least at a stop light).Natalie 05:05, 28 June 2008 (CDT)Natalie
