S Corps and EA exam
S corp can sell stock until it has 100 shareholders, but if a married couple get divorced, watch out. Best to have a required buy-sell subscription agreement to prevent 101 from happening. Be careful of securities laws, you wouldn't want to get in trouble with the SEC for unregistered securities if the shares are offered to the general public.
As for the EA exam, any questions that are year or amount sensitive are updated each year. This year's exam would be for the 2006 tax return.
NATP does have a 3 day live class and a self-study moderated class. Lots of people use GLEIM for self-study, then take the live review class before taking the test. Good luck!! Kevinh5
