TaxAlmanac

Hi, and welcome to TaxAlmanac, the free online research resource and community for tax professionals.

Please be sure to update your user page (your profile) to indicate your level of experience/background as a tax preparer. Your level of experience may be an important consideration when users are developing an appropriate answer for your questions. Beyond that, though, some users won’t respond at all if your profile hasn’t been updated, and having no profile leaves your question subject to being moved out of the professional tax forum.

Here are some good links for getting to know TaxAlmanac: Policies, Code of Conduct, FAQ, an Overview of TaxAlmanac, and Hints and Tips on How to Search on TaxAlmanac.

Thanks,

Your software discussion will be moved to Business Growth

Your new discussion will be moved, since all tax software questions are gathered together in the Business Growth/Practice Management forum (there's a note about this at the bottom of the "start a new tax question" page with the 4 steps for asking a new tax question; you might have missed that if you didn't read the entire page). You can still get to the discussion via the “my contributions” link at the top right corner of your screen.

Be sure to update your user page to indicate your level of experience as a tax pro – we don’t always have time to read through old discussions to find out if people are actually eligible to participate on TaxAlmanac, so without an updated user profile, your questions are at risk of being moved to the consumer forum.
