Thanks for your response. I read the publication 54 but one thing is not clear to me is that he works for a local company in Vietnam (they have different retirement system than over here), does he have to pay self-employment tax in the U.S ? Your response is really appreciated.
I was googling for some help to a problem and came across some information you had given last year on this forum. I wondered if you had any further thoughts on this matter.
I have a client who was ministering to businesses through Campus Crusade. One of his "clients", a major company wanted to hire him to minister to just their company. He took it. He is ordained, leads Bible Study and worship experiences for employees, did weddings for some last year, a funeral, and does christian counseling. Is he eligible for housing allowance? Boy, seems like yes and no. Do you have any thoughts on this.
