1099-misc insurance payout

Hi, I work for a school corporation and since I am on my wife's insurance the school corporation gave me $3000 for opting out of their insurance. They sent me a 1099-misc and reported this under box 7. Where do I report this on my taxes? Do I need to fill out a schedule C? Please help. Thanks in advance
