Home-sale exclusion w/ controlled entity transfers
Krey,
While some on this board may disagree, I'm convinced that you are able to sell your principal place of residence to a controled entity, recognize the gain which is excluded under section 121, and step up the basis in the property to FMV at the time of transfer. I have good paper on the issue, please email if you would like me to send.
