Your post on Cai's first time homebuyer discussion

Gary, that list in your second paragraph of the discussion appears to have been taken from this St. Louis County Office of Community Development document: 1st HOME Downpayment Assistance Program Program Manual, or else from whatever source they used. Are you confident that it is not under copyright by that, or some other, entity? If you have any doubt at all, please edit your post to link to, or refer to, the document rather than quote it. (You can edit your post by clicking on the edit tab at the top of the page.) For more on TaxAlmanac's copyright policies, please refer to TaxAlmanac's Policies and Guidelines.

And, since you're new here - you should also take a look at the links and info in the "Quick Links" section at the top of the TaxAlmanac overview page.

Thanks,

Possibly was too subtle before

It wasn't attribution I was after, it was removing any info that's potentially under copyright from the discussion. According to the TA copyright policy (linked above), it simply can't be posted. You can link to it, assuming that's allowed by the other entity, but you can't copy and paste. So I've deleted your copy and paste with a reference to your later link. Feel free to re-edit your post to reword this - e.g., you could simply put your link right there, along with a page # reference or something.

Second - you need to update your user page (your profile) to indicate your level of experience/background as a tax professional. Leaving the boilerplate info unedited leaves all of your posts subject to being removed from the tax forum.
