Michael Rainwater, TaxAlmanac Architect

Michael J. Rainwater

I have been an Intuit employee since Feb 2002. I am not a tax professional. I am a software engineer.

I have always had a great interest in Accounting. I have been fortunate to work on many systems related to the field. I was also a church treasurer for over 5 years, and I have served as Treasurer for a local PTA. I have worked on accounting systems in non-profit, auto dealerships, and "general" accounting.

I am very proud and excited to be the current architect responsible for TaxAlmanac. We have continued to grow, and to offer more capabilities to our community through this free service. The first architect for TaxAlmanac, Jeff Wolfe, created a foundation that has been easy to build on. I am most proud of the contributions I have been able to make to this community by creating and maintaining the systems that makes this work.
