Joseph A. Zayas, Enrolled agent is engaged in tax dispute resolution. I do business as Zayas Tax Services in So. Florida. I am a former Internal Revenue Service Revenue officer with more than 22 years experience, nine with the IRS and thirteen years in private practice.

My practice is limited to income tax collection and examination related issues for individuals, and small businesses. I do not solicit tax return preparation however I will prepare tax returns as part of the overall solution to a tax dispute, and I do have considerable experience in that arena.

I have sucessfully submitted many offers in compromise and am one of the few practitioners who has had an Effective Tax Administration OIC approved and accepted by the IRS.

I am a member of the National, California, and Florida Associations of Enrolled Agents, the American Academy of Tax Pratice, the National Taxpayer Advocacy Council, and an honorary member of the Puerto Rican Bar Association of Florida.
