Hi my name is Kevin and I am Vermont CPA. I gave up on corporate America accounting a few years back and went out on my own to do tax and accounting work. First year I went back to previous employer and charged premium consulting rate to help them get through audit.

Now I spend my time helping clients through project work all year and work harder first few months with finding time for all the tax work.

Making the move to go on own was a no brainer and I should have done it sooner. Less politics and less working hard for a situtation that will never improve.

Enjoy running, fantasy baseball, and playing basketball in free time.

Passed all 4 parts of CPA exam on first try. Used 6 weeks of downtime related to corporate accounting layoff to study and lock it up.

Passed parts 1 and 3 of EA exam in Dec 2007 and Part 2 in Nov 2008. [All on first try]
