Hello. I graduated from Georgia State in 1984 with a Masters in Tax. I practiced in a big 8 tax department for 3 years, then went smaller and moved into the general business category (tax & audit)for another 3. I'm a CPA and was an instructor with the BeckerCPA Review Course several years ago.

The majority of my experience comes from private industry. A year with a public startup want-a-be and another year and a half with a publicly held bank.

I have been in the banking field for the last four years as either an auditor, CFO or Controller. Currently as a Controller at a Central Florida Bank I find myself preparing many different types of tax returns for the bank, the owners and key executives.

I'm not sure how this site works but look forward to finding out. My expectations are to find information, and also to share my knowledge and experience too.
