I am a practicing accountant and tax preparer for over 20 years now. Am a member of North Carolina Society of Accountants, am accredited by ACAT in accounting and taxation, and am also enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. Still wish I had more smarts! The tax laws are getting more and more complex, not more simplified, it seems to me.
