I am a CPA just opening my own practice in Cuero, Texas (90 miles southeast of San Antonio and 28 miles west of Victoria, Texas) I will be specializing in individual income tax services and write-up work. I am 54 years old and have 20 years experience in the banking industry. I served as the Chief Financial Officer for three different banks/savings and loans over my career; Cullen/Frost Bankers, Inc. headquartered in San Antonio, Texas from 1976 to 1981; City Savings and Loan Association in San Antonio, Texas from 1985 to 1991; Cuero State Bank in Cuero, Texas from 1991 to 1999. From 1981 to 1985 I was in the real estate development business and along with three partners developed a 48 unit apartment complex in Boerne, Texas, a 40 unit apartment complex in New Braunfels, Texas, and a 16 unit condominium complex in McQueeney, Texas. From 1999 to 2002 I formed and managed a manufactured housing dealership. From 2003 to the present I have been involved in individual income tax preparation services on a seasonal basis only. I am an "Intreprenuer", making the vast majority of my income from various Internet based products and services. I have a Real Estate Brokers license in Texas (currently inactive, but should be activated again by Februay 28, 2006) and I have been a licensed CPA in the State of Texas since 1979.
