I'm a beginner in the accounting world and I work for a public firm in Austin specializing in taxes and bookkeeping.
I graduated from college in 2005 and I'm currently working on obtaining my hours to qualify me to sit for the CPA exam. I have about 5 more classes to take before I reach the 150 hour requirement. It will be fun to choose which classes to take, because they will essentially be electives as I have already reached the required number of accounting hours in the state of Texas.
