Hello, my name is Roberta, and I go by the nickname Robi. I am a an EA since 1995, and also have an M.B.A. I have about 100 tax clients, from individuals to sole props to nonprofits to homeowner associations to LLCs to S-Corps to corps to simple trusts. Right now I'm concentrating on learning more about estates and complex trusts. My specialities used to be sole props and nonprofits. I taught some of my clients so well, they now do their own tax returns. Educated myself right out of some business!!! Learned my lesson well. Starting with 2006 tax season, I will no longer educate my clients in the details of preparing tax returns! I plan on increasing my tax client base starting now. I want to prepare more complex tax returns. I plan on getting out of the bookkeeping business within two years.

I've been a bookkeeper since I was 16. I used to have a much larger bookkeeping clientele, and now I want more time off. So, I have a small bookkeeping practice that includes payroll processing and state sales tax filing as well as start-up set up and check ups. I am also a Notary Public. I think of my establishment as a one-stop shop for my clients.
I am native to Santa Cruz, California. I enjoy gambling, traveling and gardening during my down times. Last summer I grew enough produce to feed several neighbors. I am single and have a daughter and two grandchildren. The grandchildren keep me young at heart!
