Hello, my name is Matt Stuenkel and I go by the nickname mws4ua. I am new here and looking forward to learning all I can about the tax preparation and client service business.

I am a CPA and live in Birmingham, AL. I worked for PwC for two years before jumping out and moving into a more family-friendly work enviornment (less travel/weekends/late nights.) In 2008, for the first time, I did tax preparation work for a few people, mostly friends and family. This year I am looking to expand, and because my new clients will be people I don't already know, I may need some help/pointers as to how to handle new situations. I joined ths site as a reference for the work I will be performing.
