I am a sole proprietor CPA performing both tax & accounting services. I have been a CPA in Oklahoma for 20 years, 15 years with my own business. For the 5 years prior to becoming self-employed I worked in the tax department for both a small, regional CPA firm and also for one of the "Big 4" worldwide firms (in those days it was the "Big 8" accounting firms). My practice consists mostly of small, self-employed business owners, with several being involoved in real estate investments and/or oil and gas investments.
