Hello, my name is Mark Cushing and I go by the nickname Maccpa.

I am a CPA currently living in Miami, Florida. I previously worked for C&L for about 5 years specializing in Audit/Assurance. Since leaving C&L (now PwC), I have worked, either as an employee or consultant, for several public companies as well as small private firms. I currently work as a business consultant specializing in Microsoft Great Plains but am getting started in tax consulting/prep again. I have been out of the tax game for many years and, therefore, I am very rusty. So, I would greatly appreciate any help provided. Also, I am very new to TaxAlmanac so I apologize in advance for my weak profile – I hope to improve on it soon. Lastly, I am also a licensed Mortgage Broker in Florida.

On a personal note, I am a private pilot and I travel quite extensively, mostly in the U.S. and Europe. I have previously lived in Los Angeles and am considering moving back there because I love California and the entire west coast.
