Hello

My name is K. Michael Burns

I have been an enrolled agent since 1991 and have prepared income tax returns for individuals, businesses and self employed since 1979.

I am in private practice in Scottsdale, AZ with about 275 individual clients ranging from minimum wage w2 employees to highly compensated executives and doctors.


I try to find the best legal ways for my clients to pay the least tax but do not "push the envelope".

I have had very few audits and like to keep it that way.
