I am a CPA, EA, and one of the few non-attorneys admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. I am a member of NAEA, AICPA, California Society of Enrolled Agents, and the California Society of CPAs. I am also an associate member of the California State Bar Taxation Section, and an associate member of the Sacramento County Bar Taxation Section.

I have over 35 years experience in taxation, including IRS Tax Auditor and Revenue Agent (8 years), IRS Appeals Officer (18 years) and Tax Advisor for two law firms (6 years). In addition, I have written more than 50 articles on taxation that have been published in several different taxation journals.

My practice focuses on providing tax consulting services (advice and tax research) to other tax professionals who represent clients in Federal and California tax disputes or who have clients that are planning business or estate transactions. I also represent clients in appeals before the various tax authorities and prepare income, estate and gift tax returns.
