Hello, my name is Benji and I go by the nickname Darlinghardware. I am a pretty new S-corp owner for my business that makes die-cast buckles and belts which are sold online at darlinghardware.com, everything is made right here in L.A., CA. Being made in the USA is core to my business. Anywho..I really just jumped in to making the company an s-corp...and now i feel like a fish out of water. So many questions about taxes and things. I set up my s-corp over a year ago. But am just now getting everything ready to launch my online store. I lucked out and got a very good web designer and so the site looks like a 20-30K designed domain. When in fact it cost me under a grand. I don't even know how to credit these expenses when i become profitable, let alone should I file s-corp taxes for the past year when all i did was spend my own money getting new buckles and belts designed and paying for the website stuff... ? so overwhelmed. Could really use an s-corp angel. I'm 26 and a rare straight male nanny by day in santa monica. No fellow s-corp owners around me in my line of work that I can pick their brains. Would love a mentor! If you'd like to leave me a message, just select the discussion tab at the top of this page.
Thank you!
benji b.
