Hello, my name is Debbie and I go by the nickname DCTAX1. I have been a tax preparer since 1989, on a somewhat small scale, but have greatly increased my business over the last 6 or 7 years, having much more time to devote to it. I have mainly specialized in individual returns, the last 3-4 years branching out to LLCs, S-Corps, Gift and Estate returns. I enjoy the challenge of new tax issues, and enjoy researching to find the correct solution to a tax situation. However, I appreciate the expertise of the many participants of Tax Almanac as a sounding board to make sure that the conclusion I come to through my research is sound.
