Hello everyone from Whitepost, Virginia!! I have been in the accounting world (accts payable, accts receivable, payroll, etc) for over 20 years. Have been doing my own taxes and family faxes for as long as I can remember. No degrees though!! I found this site from a payroll news letter I get monthly and am really excited!! My husband just started his own electrical business last year and I am now doing all the accounting work for him (while still workign F/T) using quickbooks,which still have alot to learn. I am looking forward to finding answers to questions I might have. When you first start a business it is hard to get correct answers and it seems like everyone wants to nickle and dime you to death! I have old fashion values - help someone and the favor will be returned. Looking forward to meeting new friends.
