I recently found out about Tax Almanac through Lacerte software.

I am new to using Lacerte this year. I always liked Lacerte, but did not want to convert my previous client base from Ultra Tax. I am now in business for myself and I am looking forward to enjoying my first tax season on my own.

I am an Enrolled Agent and Licensed Tax Consultant in the state of Oregon. Previously I worked for Carter & Carter, a local investment firm in Eugene, that has a tax & accounting department and specializes in doing tax and investment services together for their clients. I was manager for the last 5 of the 10 years I worked there. They were bought out by a local bank and I left to work for another company as a controller two years ago.

I found I prefer working directly with my clients in their businesses and families. My specialty is working with small business to help them be both successful and profitable. I now have an agreement with the local bank here in Veneta (a small town west of Eugene) to work with their customers who need my services. I enjoy talking with my clients about what they do and why they do it and what their plans are for the future. We all need to have a vision of where we are going so we can map our route and know when we arrive.

I enjoy off-road driving and traveling to new places meeting people and enjoying discussions on various topics.
