Hello, my name is Mike and I go by the nickname Ahlstarz mike. I am a CTEC Certified Tax Preparer based in Long Beach, California. I am also managing partner of AHLSTARZ Tax and Accounting Service, a continuation of the legacy of Sharon A. Ahlstrom, EA, also known locally as "The Tax Lady".

I am currently working toward my Enrolled Agent status and am looking forward to another busy tax season! I am very grateful for TaxAlmanac and the wonderful resources it provides, as well as the forum for exchanging information between tax professionals.
