Edit History - Every TaxAlmanac page has an edit history where every change is recorded, and all previous versions of each page can be viewed. In addition, the person who made each change is recorded, and a link is provided to their user page. Users are encouraged to add their credentials to their user page so others can better evaluate the quality of the submissions. To view the history of any page, simply select the history tab at the top of the page.

Editing - We want you to edit here on TaxAlmanac. Most of the pages here (except the reference materials and the main page) are fully editable by all registered users. If you see a typo - fix it! If someone asks a question that you know at least a little about, jump right in! If you're reading a topical article and feel you could improve it - please do!

You can be sure that the tax law contained on TaxAlmanac is accurate. Tax Professionals like you can then discuss these issues in the Discussion Forum or add articles to TaxAlmanac to give your perspective on the law. You can always refer to an author's User Page to learn more about his/her background and areas of expertise.

Link Colors - Links are everywhere on TaxAlmanac, and there's a hidden meaning to them that may not be initially apparent.
- Blue links indicate that the page exists, but that you haven't been there recently. Click on blue links to see that page.
- Purple links indicate that the page exists, and you've been there recently. Click on a purple link to go back to that page again.
- Red links indicate that the page does not yet exist. If you click on a red link, it is assumed that you want to start the page and an edit screen will be displayed.

Searching - Searching on TaxAlmanac is simple. Just type what you're looking for into the search box located on the left side of every TaxAlmanac page. The article described the social phenomenon of wikis and Wikipedia in particular, which has become one of the most visited sites on the Internet and now provides expert knowledge in over 1.3 million general articles - far more than the familiar Encyclopedia Britannica.

User Pages - Everyone who creates an account has their own personal user page on TaxAlmanac. To edit your own page, sign in and then select your username from the very top of any page. Add any information about yourself or your business that you'd like to share with others.
