What are the rules for a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to have a "tax free" day for sales tax in the state of Texas? I was told organizations could get 1 day (they pick) but then there are some special circumstances (when you are starting up) that may allow an organization to get 2 days. I'm not sure if the timing of the organization start has something to do with it. --Mrainwater 07:02, 28 Apr 2005 (CDT)
