Deducting sales tax on materials for new home
Should new home buyers request a detail from the home builder of the sales tax paid on the materials of there new home? Would this then be a sales tax deduction?
- You can only deduct sales taxes you paid. Presumably, the builder will want to deduct the sales taxes he paid for the materials. --rlw (Talk) 03:25, 18 March 2006 (CST)

When will Pub 600 exist?
Pub 600 doesn't appear to exist on irs.gov.
