Quickbooks is frequently accused of downloading spyware programs onto client’s computers that in some situations may cause problems with other programs.
However, Quickbooks, like many programs on the market, actually installs update software that will periodically check the internet for updates to the program. Frequently Spyware Detection software will falsely identify this software as spyware.
Generally there are ways to disable this software from loading and/or operating once loaded. For assistance, you should contact the appropriate tech support or speak with your systems administrator.
