Large print tax forms

Overview

Publication 1615 is a discontinued publication that, in the past, provided large print tax forms: Form 1040A, Schedules 1, 2, 3, and EIC, and Form 8812, and their instructions. Publication 1614, also discontinued, provided Form 1040, Schedules A, B, D, E, and R, and Form 1040-V, and their instructions, all in large print. These forms could be used as worksheets to figure tax, but were not intended for actual filing purposes.

The IRS has set up a page (linked below) to provide information on the various accessible IRS Tax Products that are currently available. Although the IRS provides forms and publications in alternative media, it discourages taxpayers from filing tax returns in these formats. The IRS offers free tax return preparation assistance at its Taxpayer Assistance Centers and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites. Other alternatives for assistance include Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE), or American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).
