Welcome to TaxAlmanac, $1!

Now that you've created your own account, you may want to know about the following:

• Change your preferences You can change your TaxAlmanac preferences by selecting the 'preferences' link at the very top of any TaxAlmanac page.

• Create a biography page You can create a page that tells other users of the site about you. Just click on your log-in name at the top of the screen to get to your (currently empty) page. Select edit from the tabs at the top and enter anything you want about yourself. This is a great way to get started, and it allows you to share information about yourself. You can even include a link to your own homepage if you have one.

• Occasionally, check the my talk link next to your user name at the top of the screen. You may sometimes receive messages from other users on this page.

• Edit existing articles and add new ones to help us build this community. We ask that you write at least one tax article about a topic you encountered in the field this year or have knowledge about. Don't be shy. The TaxAlmanac community will benefit from your contribution no matter how small.
