Numbered Lists
Use numbered (ordered) lists when the list items are in a required order (for example, chronological). Introduce the list with a lead-in sentence (the lead-in need not be a complete sentence; the list items can complete the lead-in). Punctuate the lead-in sentence with a colon.
- Numbered Lists are easy to do:
- Start every line with a number sign.
- Numbered lists are easy to read.
- Easy to follow.
- Numbered lists are easy to read.
- List items are in a required order.
Here is the format to create a numbered list.
