In 2007 Client contributed 2,850 to HSA account per 1099 SA gross distribution was $2,408.47, distribution code 1. Does he get a deductin for 2,408 or 2,850. Is he taxed on the difference 442. If he is taxed on the difference does the 10% penalty apply. Thank you
