Anyone here who asks their clients 'What is your sign?' For the record, I am Acquarius.

Capricorn here...I had a bday on Friday....but if you ask, I will lie about my age, weight and possibly hair color...hehehe

Nah, I do ask how they feel though.

I'm a Capricorn too. My bday was on Thursday. I've been 29 for quite a few years now.

And a big Happy Birthday to you Sandy. Now we are both 29 again.

I never ask about signs - it would date me too badly and I think my face dates me enough these days. Another Capricorn here though. My birthday is tomorrow and it's a REALLY big one! None of the others have ever bothered me as much as this one - but then it sure beats the alternative.

For the record, if asked, I'm 22. My reasons for that have been clear for a number of years now. If you say you are 29, or 21, everyone knows you are lying. So I say I'm 22, because nobody lies about that age - besides I looked soooooo good in a mini skirt at that age. Definitely a thing of the past theses days.

I was making a 'funny' when I asked if anyone asked for signs; then again, perhaps there is a correlation between sign and being a thief.

And Donnie, when people ask how I feel, I often respond, 'What do you care. All you care is that I don't keel over in the next hour and you get your taxes done.' Then I smile a little. What is worse is "I guess this is your busy time?" "No, I was just sitting here whittling this ship to put inside a bottle."

I'm a Capricorn too. Has anybody ever seen a study of signs vs occupations?

BL - took the words out of my mouth. Actually, I'm curious to see if there's a correlation between a few signs and tax preparers? I see a lot of Acquariusus (word?) & Capricorns have

responded. I'm a Taurus/Aries (on the cusp); to my way of thinking - these are the anal/retentive/obsessive/compulsive signs (oops, aren't those words suposed to be hyphenated?).

I'm an Aquarius, big 40th birthday coming up February 1st, yikes!

Doesn't hurt a bit ...  :-)

Two days before my 40th, I was being lazy, depressed, all that stuff, watching the a.m. news when they announced the bombing in Oklahoma City - all those children gone. Gave me a different perspective and now I try (!) not to let the birthdays bother me too much. As some one pointed out, sure beats the alternative. There is an innate unfairness to having your birthday during tax season tho :-)

D&T you just crack me up! I'll take one ship, please.

I'm a Taurus, and that horoscope was right on for me. I never expect a refund because I purposely slightly underpay our taxes.

Belle, it must be the Aries side you are getting those obsessive/compulsive characteristics from, don't you think?

I'm Gemini, so we seem to get a refund every year. Now I know why!

I have a client who is very much into astrology. She schedules her appointments, estimated payments, document gathering, mailing of her return or correspondence all around a complicated astrological chart system that she brings with her every year and goes through it with me to make sure I don't goof up. I just ignore it. One year she got an IRS letter and said it was my fault because I must have e-filed at the wrong time and date. It was a big nothing when I reviewed the letter.

Natalie, my husband is Aries (we are two weeks, and a few years apart) and he is most defintely obsessive/compulsive etc. Hard to imagine how we have lasted 23 years together !

My son is an Aries and married a lady who is also an Aries. Compulsive/obsessive were never words I would use to describe him while he was growing up. Impulsive definitely, followed rapidly by sloppy, messy, a little lazy. However, as a grown up, OK, maybe a little on the obsessive side, especially when it comes to wrapping a gift. Husband is a Virgo - now that is someone who is definitely a perfectionist. Our first argument as a newly wedded couple was because he was picking on me for a whole day. And I haven't seen a refund for years - where does that fit in the horoscope thing, I don't remember.

Refunds were mentioned because of the link D&T provided. Capricorns are one of the "earth signs" and are considered practical. It says that Capricorns do not splurge with their refunds.

I am Leo, and so does my wife and my daughter. Birtdays one week apart - starting with my daughter and ending with my wife.

Age - who cares, as long as I am feeling pain in my body every moring when I get up! According to my doctor it is good to feel pain in the morning - it says you are alive!

This Capricorn doesn't except a refund. But if I did, I'd spend it a heatbeat!

What is it we say about we people of the water sign? Busy, busy, busy.

Maybe I have it wrong. I think I just quoted some Bokonnonism scripture.

I am a Sagittarius. My husband is a Leon. He has no problem spending the refunds. I will spend the refunds, but on paying bills (so he can run them up again!)
